I'm sorry you've been feeling poorly, & hope you're better soon.

Thanks for the _Webmage_ recommendation; I've put it on hold at the library.

Thanks, all. LRK, you make me feel a little better about my to-read list, but only a little; I think I'm about six months ahead of you. :)

And Zuleme - if there is any saving-the-world to be done in the Frontier Magic series (which I don't expect), or even saving-the-country, it's going to be a team effort. Eff really doesn't like being a heroine, not even as much of a one as she was by the end of Book 1.

Glad you are feeling better. :)

I don't know if it will make you feel better re being behindhand in your reading - but the newest of my books I've read was bought in 2004. And I've been buying a lot since then... which would be frustrating, of course, but that I enjoy the thought of all the wonderful books I've got to look forward to - like a miser gloating over his (or in my case, her) gold. (The newest of my books I read was "Ombria in Shadow" - it was gorgeous!) I've got four of your books on my reading-list and am looking forward to them - loved the three Enchanted Forest books I've read so far and have no doubt I'll love the other books I've got as well (and the ones I mean to get...) :)

>> I can STILL CATCH the stupid flu <<

Be glad you are older and past the age where this swine flu kills.

Rereading Snow White and Rose Red. Got to say, it and Sorcery and Cecelia are two of my favorites. They are outstanding books.

I just finished Thirteenth Child and really loved it. I get tired of fantasy books where the main character is "the one" the prophecy has foretold who will save the world. And I liked your vision of a different America.
I read a lot of fantasy since I managed to never grow up in my reading tastes or my world view. Look forward to the next one in this trilogy.

Wow. Being sick is bad enough, without getting swamped by life. Glad you're starting to feel better.
