Patricia has asked me to post on her behalf to let you know that although she has lots to say, she must suspend posting temporarily. She broke her elbow Tuesday morning. She will resume posting when the dictation software permits.

  1. Oh, no! Heal fast Patricia.

  2. Poor Patricia! Broken bones are awful. Hope you feel better soon.

  3. Oh dear! Sending healing thoughts.

  4. Sending best vibes; heal soon and don’t strain those vocal chords too much.

  5. +1 to healing vibes from Kate and me.

  6. Uh oh! Hope you heal quickly!

  7. Sorry to hear that 🙁 Hope you heal fast and the dictation software works for you (or that you learn to type REAL well with one hand?)

    Good luck!

    • I had a broken thumb once: I learned to type moderately fast with one hand, but only in lower-case. I’m not sure I recommend this for a broken elbow, but you could try it (cautiously) and see if it works without hurting you further. Mostly, give that bone a chance to heal. We can wait.

  8. Hope you heal well and quickly.

  9. Joining in the wishes for speedy recovery!

  10. Oh dear! All best wishes for a speedy recovery.

  11. Ouch! Take care of yourself. Having one arm even partly immobilized can throw your balance off; I nearly added a second cast to my collection that way.

And as a couple of people have commented, we can wait.

  12. Best wishes to recover fully.

  13. Best wishes for healing quickly — I hope you’re as comfortable as can be, under the circumstances!

  14. Oh, no! I hope you heal thoroughly and well. Take care of yourself!

Isn’t that going a bit far in letting a computer run your life? Tell off that software. You can, you know, and it has to listen. After all, that is its purpose.
