Merry Fourth Day of Christmas!
I wrote the Valentine’s Day chapter of my WIP (alt-history 1950s with Valentine’s Day being a more-important holiday than in OTL), finishing it on Dec 21st. I still have that back-burner set of alternate-world holiday stories on, well, the back burner. (I’ve made a start, possibly a false start, on a New Year’s Eve story set in alt-history 1960/61. It involves a flat tire and being snowed in.)
And I’m still wanting to see how Venturesome Sheep Day turns out.
LOL, thanks for the reminder! I mean to start working on some short stories soon; maybe Venturesome Sheep Day can develop a plot in 2023….

I just wanted to leave you a quick note to let you know that I adopted your fandom wiki, wrede.fandom.com and have been working hard to fix it up and to showcase all of your books. There is still a lot to be done, but it has been a big help getting through this winter and holidays. I have been a long time devoted fan of Frontier Magic and every time I reread it I’ve itched to start a wiki on it, but I prefer maintaining Author wiki’s. I’ve also enjoyed Mairelon the Magician and Cecelia and Kate series when I first read them, so have had fun doing a rereading of both series. I hadn’t read Lyra before this, but working my way through them now. I found the map that you created for Lyra in 1227, did you by any chance create any other maps at later dates? If you didn’t I will try and create some using the 1227 map and your descriptions, so no problem. If you want to, please feel free to email me if you have any concerns or requests. I maintain a couple of other author fandom wiki’s and try to be sensitive about not giving too much information away and encouraging people to read the books ? Oh, one last thing. I think the list of Lyra books on your website, by internal chronology is incorrect. Best wishes in the New Year, Ann (looking forward to your new book, can’t wait until Sept.)
