I finished Peace of Wolves last month and now it’s out to beta readers! Initial feedback is positive, everyone agrees it’s a page-turner. It doesn’t look like I’m going to need major edits, so I think it’s time to go ahead and order a cover. With luck, I may get it published by Christmas. Which is a wonderful but slightly terrifying thought.

I have a character named Rauhansusi, which is Finnish for Peace Wolf, so there is that.

Writing along. Revising some fairy-tale short stories and an essay collection
Congratulations.
In the middle of my usual process for my novel-in-progress – a revision pass from the start, on a partly-completed first draft. Also futzing around with various short stories from time to time, which is also part of my usual process.
One of the short stories is a fractured version of the Pied Piper of Hamelin – a sufficiently fractured version of the fairy tale that I want to change the town’s name (or maybe leave it out).
